How to Prolong the Life of your Kid’s Backpack

A Children Backpacks life is not forever. Even though you’ve purchased the most high quality and most durable brand of , without proper care and treatment, it wouldn’t survive to see your kid graduate pre-school.

To save money from buying bags every so often, you should be able to take care of your kid’s backpack to ensure that it last a long time with your kid. As a parent, it is in your hands to make sure that your Backpacks for Kids last long enough to be handed over to his younger siblings or cousins.

Proper care for your
kid’s backpack calls for regular cleaning. Since most kids are undeniably messy, you should be on the lookout for stains or pen marks on the bag that may be harder to remove if not taken with immediate action.

Wash your cool backpacks for kids at least once in two weeks. Clean it with soap and mild detergent since strong chemicals in some cleaning solutions can weaken the fabric of the bag or cause for colors and prints to fade. You want to keep your kid’s backpack clean but at the same time keeping it looking brand new.

For stains, wipe it away immediately with wet cloth to prevent the stain from settling in and making a permanent mark. You should also teach your kid to do the same thing when you’re not around, like when he’s in school and he got a ketchup stain on his bag, he would be able to know what to do.

Should there be irremovable and stubborn stains, don’t force it out by bleaching it for this may wash away the bag’s colour and prints together with the stain, leaving the bag a plain white one that your kid may not like. Instead opt to cover up the stain with cool badges, patch or button pin that will not only accentuate the bag but also hide the ugly stain.

Aside from that, it is a good idea to have alternative bags that your kid can use. Bringing his backpack daily to school and subjecting it to every day wear and tear will eventually wear out the bag. Give his backpack the rest that it needs and deserve every once in a while.

And most importantly, teach your kid to value his backpack and care for it the way you do. This will teach him responsibility for the things he own and cultivate proper care and treatment for his things as he grows up.
